The Hammerandtongs is an excellent all-round carbon road bike, but most at home on quick, rolling rides. 

The matt coloured frame is made from light high modulus carbon (high carbon content), giving a solid and durable construction. The front end position is set slightly taller and has been coupled with thinner shock absorbing rear seat stays, which provides comfort while maintaining the speed and efficiency typically associated with a high-end race bike.
 
The Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic gears work with rapid precision, with a considerable range on each charge (usually recharge 2/3 times annually from a USB lead into a small junction box beneath the handlebar stem). For the uninitiated, switching from standard mechanical to Di2 is always a case of 'once bitten forever smitten'. The gearing has a broad range 11-28 rear cassette and semi-compact 52/36 chainset; this provides enormous choice for easier climbing or fast descending.
 
The finishing kit is all oversized, stiff, lightweight alloy componentry. With matching cork tape and a comfortable road saddle, the rider has a complete racing thoroughbred.

The Hammerandtongs is an excellent bike for near on most road use but is most at home in competition. We have successfully brought together a top quality carbon frame with a cutting edge DI2 groupset, totalling a package which offers supremely better value than most other bikes within the same category. 


The bike is designed to allow a more sustainable riding position while still being able to achieve high power output and faster speeds. In line with our in house bike fitting, we optimise the ride by selecting the size parameters of groupset and finishing kit to best match rider height at each incremental size of frame.
