Unwanted Items

We will refund or exchange any unused goods within 30 days of receipt, so long as they meet the following criteria:

  • The item(s) must be in the original packaging
  • All labels and tags must still be attached
  • The items must not have been fitted or used
  • Personalised items are exempt from our returns policy

To arrange for a return, please contact us first at returns@pearsoncycles.co.uk or bring the item into the shop in person for us to issue the refund. Returns made in the shop must be accompanied by a receipt.

All postage costs to return unwanted items must be met by the customer. We recommend that you use either recorded delivery or registered post, in order to ensure that you’re covered if the item is lost en route.

We aim to process your return on the same day that we receive it, but it will certainly be dealt with within 2 working days.

We will refund the cost of the item(s) through the same method you used to pay originally, so this may take up to 10 working days to appear in your account.

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty upon delivery, please let us know at returns@pearsoncycles.co.uk, stating whether you would like a refund or a replacement, or bring the item into the shop in person with the receipt.

If an item should become faulty after use, please contact us at returns@pearsoncycles.co.uk, detailing the fault that has occurred. All of our products are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty, which vary in length, but typically only cover manufacturing defects, not accident damage, neglect or general abuse. Once you’ve contacted us, though, we should be able to advise you if the product is still under warranty and if the fault is likely to be covered.

Once we have received and inspected the returned item(s), we will either issue a refund or dispatch a replacement item to you, refunding any return postage. Some products will need to be returned to the supplier and inspected by them before a refund can be issued, so please be patient if it does take a little while for a refund to come through.

If we do not have a replacement item in stock to dispatch immediately, we will contact you and inform you of how long it will take for us to source a replacement, with the option of a refund still available.
