Payment Security

We take online security very seriously and have imposed a number of measures to ensure that your details are kept safe whilst shopping online at Pearsons.

Our payment processing system is fully accredited with Level 1 PCI DSS by Visa and Mastercard. Your card details are kept completely confidential and secure; payment is taken automatically, so we will never see your card information. Any personal data that you send to us will be transmitted via TLS (or SSL depending on the age of your browser), making it virtually impossible for anyone to intercept your details.

For Visa and Mastercard cards, all payments will pass through either Verified by Visa or Securecode by Mastercard to prevent fraudulent use of your card.

Details for orders will be checked and we may hold an order if any of these details do not appear to match. If we find either the card or address details to be incorrect, we will contact you in order to obtain confirmation of these details.
