The Pearson Hammerandtongs is a great all round road bike ideal for long days in the saddle or for shorter quicker rides. 
 
The matt coloured frame is made from light high modulus carbon (high carbon content), giving a very strong and durable construction. The front end position is set slightly higher, coupled with thinner shock absorbing rear seat stays, which in combination provides a more comfortable ride whilst maintaining the speed and efficiency associated with a typical road racing wheel base length.
 
The electronic gears work with rapid precision, have huge ranges on each charge (usually recharge 2/3 times annually from a USB lead into small junction box beneath the handlebar stem) and for the uninitiated the shift towards this system is always a case of 'once bitten forever smitten'. The gearing has a broad range 11-28 rear cassette and semi compact 52/36 chain set, this provides huge choice for easier climbing or fast descending.
 
The Ultegra groupset is complete - meaning no substitutions of non branded brake calipers or downgrades to more basic chainsets, just all slick, lightweight and durable parts.
 
The finishing kit (bars,stem,saddle) is all oversize lightweight and strong alloy componentry. Matching cork tape and a comfort road saddle finishes the Hammerandtongs to present a stunning bike both in performance, looks and at amazing value.

  • X Small for riders 5'4" (163cm upwards)
  • Small for riders 5'6" (167cm) upwards
  • Medium for riders 5'8" (172cm) upwards
  • Large for riders 6'0" (183cm) upwards
  • X Large for riders 6'2" (188cm) upwards

The Hammer is a great bike for near on most road use. If it's a an hour's flying ride or a gruelling sportive, it fits the needs for many a customer who have this bike in their collection. We aimed to bring a top quality frame with aligned cutting edge electronic gearing to a price which was better by far than the competition. The bike is designed to suit a less aggressive stance, meaning that it will keep riders in a more sustainable position while still being able to achieve higher power output and faster speeds. In keeping with our in house bike fitting we will always aim to optimise the ride by specifing the groupset and finishing kit size parameters to best match rider height with each incremental size of frame. The combination of the quality of the Hammerandtongs and the keen price we can offer, it's very difficult to beat in today's market place.
