The Pearson Hanzo is aimed at the day riding/commuting/training market. The idea is to provide a dependable steel frame which allows for suitable clearance for full mudguards with dedicated mounts for stays and a rear rack. We feel that we have achieved this without compromising the frame's agility and still maintain a responsive ride.
The Hanzo has a slightly higher front end giving a more upright position to maintain rider comfort. The frames are available in four sizes in 2 inch increments measuring from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube 17 19 21 23 inch (small medium large X large)

Despite being at the price of many of the off the peg single speed bikes on the market, the Hanzo is custom built to specification. Each bike is built frame from the frame up to take into account rider sizes and specification. The wheels are handbuilt - Ambosio Excursion rims on Ambrosio sealed bearing hubs with double butted spokes. The rims have reinforced eyelets to maintain a strong wheel long term. The rear hub is 'flip flop' and comes with a choice of either fixed gear one side and freewheel (18 tooth) the other. Double fixed sprocket of varying ratios are also available if requested.
The variations available range from a choice of drop bar and width, or courier type bars, to stem length, fixed wheel sprocket size, and crank length. There are also upgrades available. These are all listed below:

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
John Smithies - I bought a Hanzo from you on Saturday and I wanted to email to let you know I love the bike - it's just brilliant. I rode it to work today and the feel of it is perfect - it's nippy and fast and geared just right.
Terry Cole - I had been looking for a steel frame fixie for ages which really fits me. The ability to custom fit was ideal to get me comfortable on the bike and it rides like an absolute dream! I have mixed business with pleasure by commuting and using it as my weekender and it ticks both boxes, so thanks for all your help and a great bike.
Sue Christie - Wow! Fantastic bike fantastic service! I will recommend you to the rest of the girls. Thanks again.
Steve Hughes - I bought one of your esteemed steel steeds last year and promised to give you feedback so apologies for the delay. Firstly your service was first class. I was buying your cheapest bike but was treated as if I was your most important customer. That really makes a huge difference as I've encountered so much bike snobbery from other establishments. I have recommended you to everyone I meet.
Now the bike. Paintwork is still good after a hard winter. Swapped to a lay-back seat post and different saddle and it is amazingly comfortable even on long rides yet can still be hauled up long hills. The Cane Creek brake levers are superb giving excellent grip and ergonomics and the tektro front brake has been fine ( I removed the rear). FSA crankset was fine until I switched to fixed and then I wore it out fairly quickly. Now have a Strong Light on there which is doing fine. Ambrosia wheels are doing really well coping with potholes and general abuse running smoothly and still fairly true. Conti gatorskins have survived broken glass, road debris, potholes without a single puncture and still grip well even in aquaplaning conditions. Astounding tyres.
I'm now completely converted to fixed and have removed the freewheel. Even playing with the ratios I still seem to get overtaken by the deraileur brigade in most situations apart from up and I'm still trying to beat the guy with the touche with the fat front cog who I see( the back of) in Barnes every morning...
So great product, great service. What more could you want? Well done. See you in the future, I'm sure.
